What the team means for Summerland
The Summerland Jets will create value well beyond the rink by supporting local businesses, giving young people new ways to connect with the game, bringing residents together, and creating a shared source of pride for the community.

Minor hockey
The Jets will work closely with Summerland Minor Hockey to help young players feel connected to the junior team. Youth nights, player visits, mentorship, and other shared activities will give local athletes opportunities to meet the players, learn from them, and see a pathway they can aspire to follow.

Schools
The Jets will connect with the local school through classroom visits, reading programs, school nights, and ticket initiatives designed to introduce more young people and families to the team.

Community appearances
The Jets will take an active role in the community through local events, charity initiatives, senior programs, and partnerships with organizations across Summerland.

Community programming
Sponsor-supported events such as Minor Hockey Night, School Night, Community Hero, and the Teddy Bear Toss will bring fans together while supporting youth, local organizations, and community participation throughout the season.

Partners
The Summerland Jets value partnerships that strengthen the team’s connection to the community. This includes the team’s relationship with St’uxwtéws, Bonaparte First Nation, along with other approved community, business, and regional partners.
